Ramadan Outfit Inspiration

Ramadan Mubarak to all! May Allah bless us this month and may all our prayers be answered.

I still cannot believe how quickly Ramadan is passing by. It is already day 16! I had hoped to get this blogpost out early but I guess it's not too late! You ladies may have a couple more iftars to go to! So, with out further ado, I present to you some inspiration on what to wear for your next iftar/suhour:

Kaftan

Kaftans are pretty trendy now, especially here in Dubai. You find a lot of women dressed in beautifully covered Kaftans lined with sparkly embroidery. I think they are wonderful, as they are very loose too. They hide everything! Trust me and you know you want to do that after you indulge in food!

Open Abaya

Open abayas are also very fitting to wear during Ramadan. You can wear something fancy underneath and simply tone it down with an open abaya or the other way around. You can wear something simple on the inside, for example a jersey slip, and cover with a fancy abaya. This is my number one choice for ramadan outfits! They also work perfect when going to the masjid for taraweeh.

Maxi Dress

Don't have a abaya or kaftan, any long sleeve maxi dress will do. They look elegant and not something you would typically during the busy year, thereby making it unique. My favorite dresses are the long chiffon maxi dresses that come with a belt. Just the fabric that drapes down is enough to have people say, Mashallah. I wouldn't really go for the cotton maxi dresses, they are not as elegant or fancy as the chiffon. Cotton maxis you would typically wear on a hot day, a picnic, typically a day-time outfit.
